Whether you are shooting a commercial, filming a wedding or producing a video for social media: This set allows you to capture cinematic scenes with your camera in a professional manner within minutes. Adjust the cage to your camera, insert it, attach the monitor to the cage and run the cable to the camera - and you're ready to go! With the help of the monitor, you can clearly see whether you have really focused and can really set up the image the way you want it. Thanks to the high contrast of 900:1 and a removable sun visor, it is no problem to set up the camera perfectly even in glaring sunlight, either by hand or on a tripod. You can also connect an external microphone to the cage, or the receiver of your radio link, or other accessories that you need when shooting on the camera. The Magic 18 articulated arm allows you to ideally position the desired accessories for your requirements. Thanks to the anti-twist protection for the articulated arm, sagging or loosening of the articulated arm is prevented. With this set, you are laying the foundation for solid filming equipment for your future cameras!

Thanks to the flexibility of the Aptaris Universal XL MkII cage, it fits almost all common camera models. With various 1/4 inch and several 3/8 inch threaded holes, it is ready to carry any number of accessories in all conceivable configurations. The handle can be balanced thanks to a small rail and makes it possible to guide the camera like a professional. But the cage can also be used on tripods, as it is compatible with their tripod heads thanks to the adapter plate in the Manfrotto PL 501 standard. Of course, any other interchangeable plates can also be attached under the cage. The accessories on the cage, be it a microphone, an LED light or a monitor, make filming easier. Framing and focus can be adjusted much more quickly and easily with the help of a monitor than, for example, using the monitor integrated in the camera. Our Walimex pro 4.5" Camera Assist Monitor 4K IPS, which can be operated using a mains adapter or rechargeable battery, offers focus peaking, for example. This function marks everything in the image that is in focus. A glance at the monitor is all it takes to see whether the focus is correct. Thanks to the attachment with the Walimex pro Magic 18 articulated arm, the monitor can be swiveled or rotated as required. This small holding miracle with two 1/4 inch screws with thread adapter and flash shoe adapter supports any accessory weighing up to two kilograms at any desired angle. Both ball joints are locked with the locking wheel. The popular Magic 18 articulated arm supports the monitor on the cage wherever you need it.

Low weight and top quality
Our Aptaris system, as well as many other Aptaris accessories, are made in Germany from sturdy, lightweight aerospace aluminum. This alloy has a very low weight, but offers a strength similar to that of steel. This allowed us to limit the weight of the cage to 406 grams. The Magic 18 articulated arm is made of aluminum and weighs only 195 grams. Together with the monitor weighing only 170 grams, this results in a low additional weight, which is worth it for professional recordings.
