Top 5 travel cameras

Summertime is travel time! Most people at least go on vacation during the summer months and go on top photographic performances because they always have their camera ready to shoot. And for good reason, as you can get more subjects in front of your lens in a short space of time than ever before. Which travel camera to take with you, however, is usually a very difficult and always individual question. The main arguments are image quality, size and options. We have picked out five recommendations for travel cameras and would like to briefly introduce them here.

Extra tip: Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ 2000

The flexible "all-rounder" camera from Panasonic is our conclusion to the topic of travel cameras, because this all-rounder offers a large 1 inch sensor and a Leica zoom lens thanks to which it is possible to comfortably capture more distant subjects on vacation. The camera also has video functionality in 4k resolution. At 966g, it is somewhat heavier than a Panasonic Lumix DMC-GX80, but much more flexible to use.

The best accessories for travel photography

When it comes to travel photography, there are various camera accessories that can improve your travel shots.

Joby GorillaPod tripod - Thanks to the flexible legs of the GorillaPod, this tripod can be used almost anywhere and enables great shots from new perspectives.

Pocket mount for the camera such as the Capture Clip from Pe ak Design or the Clip from Ulanzi.

The Peak Design system with the universal anchor loops offers a lot of flexibility and allows the user to choose whether he or she wants to travel with a hand strap (Peak Design) or a camera strap (Peak Design).
