Samyang XP 14mm F2.4 is a high performance manual lens, optimized and designed for the latest DSLR cameras
The Lens is designed for cameras with 35mm full frame sensor for best photo and video shooting. It is the brightest Lens of its kind and is designed for the latest DSLR cameras with a high pixel count.

Unique perspectives
The compact 14mm Samyang wide-angle lens produces unique images. The wide-angle lens captures more than the standard lens at the same subject distance. The Samyang Lens is suitable for the entire spectrum of wide-angle photography, but especially for landscape photography and indoor shots. The pronounced impression of depth of the wide-angle shots offers scope for creative photography.

Enormous width and great depth of field
The Lens has a short focal length. With a close focusing distance of just 28 cm, the manually focusable wide-angle lens is particularly suitable for sharp and high-contrast images from a short distance. Thanks to the excellent lens speed of 1:2.4, optimum images are possible even in unfavorable lighting conditions.

High pixel count for excellent optical functionality
The outstanding imaging performance is thanks to the sophisticated optical system. This consists of 14 groups with 18 lenses and thus sets new standards. Particularly noteworthy are the two aspherical lenses, 1 aspherical hybrid lens, 2 ED lenses and 3 HR lenses. These high-precision aspherical and high-refractive lenses minimize various imaging errors and produce a clear image. In particular, it has excellent distortion correction and offers excellent resolution in the center and at the edges. The lens hood also prevents annoying lateral light incidence and lens reflections that would lead to a loss of contrast.

Built-in chip
A chip built into the Lens makes it possible to work with automatic exposure or program mode. EXIF data such as aperture, ISO value or exposure time are also transferred.

Advantages of a full-frame lens on a camera with an APS-C sensor
Save time in post-processing. A large number of lens errors such as distortion, edge blur or vignetting occur on the outer areas of the image. If you use a Lens calculated for full format on a camera with an APS-C sensor, these areas are not used. This results in maximum quality. Additional post-processing time to correct lens errors is therefore not required.
