The precise coordination of sensors, motors and optical and mechanical components ensures an extremely natural and comfortable viewing experience - even when moving. More than a thousand measurements per second continuously adjust the lens position toimmediately compensate for even the slightest hand movements . The result is image stabilization with exceptionally low latency, which enables a stable, clear image without distracting trailing effects. SWAROBALANCE thus sets new standards in observation quality.

The AT Balance 18-45x65 and the ST Balance 14-35x50 are two models with different zoom ranges. While the AT Balance offers higher magnification, the ST Balance focuses on weight (1,470 g vs. 1,300 g). Both are only available in green.

THE IMAGE STABILIZATION
The AT/ST Balance telescopes have a movable lens that is moved by an electric motor (voice coil motor) to compensate for movement. This type of motor works particularly quickly, very precisely and with low friction (stepless pushing and pulling). They are also used in camera autofocus systems, for example.

The integrated gyroscope sensor measures the current movement of the telescope. It then calculates the lens movement required to compensate for the movement of the telescope so that appropriate countermeasures can be taken to achieve a steady image. With the stabilization concept of the AT/ST Balance, there is no noticeable "floating" or "dragging", even during movement. This absolutely natural observation feeling is unique on the market.

The automatic locking of the moving lens in the event of a drop or sudden interruption of the power supply ensures both protection of the lens and the best optical quality by keeping the lens in the central position.

BATTERY
The operating time of the battery is 12 hours of continuous operation (may vary depending on temperature conditions) and is therefore more than sufficient for a whole day in the field. To save energy, the AT/ST Balance goes into an automatic time-out mode after 5 minutes in idle mode. A light touch (e.g. focusing) puts the device back into active mode. Additional batteries for swapping in the field are available as accessories.

PHOTOGRAPHY
The mechanical connection option for the TLS APO is not available. The VPA 2 Variable Phone Adapter can be used
and achieves great photographic results in combination with high-quality smartphone cameras.
