Schneider-Kreuznach Xenon FF-Prime Cine-Tilt Lens XN CT 2.1/75
World's first full-frame cine prime for dynamic tilt effects
This innovative lens with Sony E-mount mount combines the properties of full-frame primes with the possibilities of an additional tilt function of up to ±4°. By maintaining the field of view during focus and tilt movements, the new Cine-Tilt design with tilting focus planes makes previously unimaginable images and scenes possible. This new Lens opens up an extended potential in the use of the out-of-focus area, especially when the tilt function is used with large apertures. A tilt angle of 4° at sensor level corresponds to a tilt of the focal plane of up to 80° or more, depending on the focal length and distance setting.

Like the standard Xenon FF primes, the Cine-Tilt Lens offers balanced color rendition, reduced breathing and a bokeh reminiscent of classic Hollywood films. The new design features a sophisticated mechanism for smooth and precise tilt movements. The tilt adjustment of the Lens is controlled by a high-precision ring with 120° rotation, the operation of which is as intuitive as the focus adjustment. Thanks to the standard 0.8 cine gear module, the Cine-Tilt can be used in conjunction with standard follow focus systems in both degrees of freedom.

At a tilt setting of 0°, the Cine-Tilt Lens delivers the same image look as standard Xenon FF primes. This means that all scenes can be shot with the Cine-Tilt Lens.
