10mm focal length with f/3.5 on full frame
This is the world's first Lens to offer a very fast focal length of 10mm with f/3.5 for full frame cameras without fisheye effect: Straight lines stay straight, even at the very edges of the image. The distortion of straight lines so typical of wide-angle shooting has been reduced to the point where it is virtually undetectable - see sample images.

Samyang XP 10mm F3.5 is a high-performance manual lens optimized and designed for the latest DSLR cameras
The Lens is designed for cameras with 35mm full-frame sensors to provide crystal-clear photo and video capture. It is the brightest Lens of its kind and is perfect for the latest DSLR and DSLM cameras with high pixel count. The Lens's outstanding optical resolution allows photos of over 50 megapixels and enables filming in 8K.

Unique Perspectives
Wide-angle lenses open up unique creative possibilities for photogragy and film. Compositions can be laid out completely differently because suddenly so much more fits in the frame than you're used to with normal focal lengths. For example, this Lens captures two streets meeting at right angles with ease. This wide-angle lens is therefore particularly suitable for landscape and architectural photography, but also for interiors (not just for real estate agents). For portraits, however, a focal length between 50 and 80mm is recommended, as this angle of view corresponds most closely to that of the human eye.

Enormous width and great depth of field
The Lens has an exceptionally short focal length. With a closest focusing distance of just 26cm, the manually focusable wide-angle lens is particularly suitable for sharp, high-contrast images at close range. Thanks to the good speed of 1:3.5, optimal pictures can be taken even in unfavorable lighting conditions.

High pixel count for excellent optical functionality
The outstanding imaging performance is due to the sophisticated optical system. This consists of 11 groups with 18 lenses and thus sets standards. Particularly noteworthy are the three aspherical lenses, three ED lenses and one HR lens. The aspherical lenses (ASP) minimize aberrations by containing unwanted light scattering. The ED (extra-low distortion) lenses prevent chromatic aberrations. The HR (high refractive) lens optimizes the optical path to provide a clear and luminous image. With these matched high-precision aspherical and high refractive lenses, the various possible aberrations are minimized, and a clear image is obtained. In particular, this Lens has excellent distortion correction and provides excellent resolution from center to edge. The lens hood also prevents annoying side light incidence and lens reflections that would lead to loss of contrast.

Built-in chip
A chip built into the Lens that communicates with the camera via the interface on the mount makes it possible to work with exposure or program automatic. In addition, EXIF data such as aperture and focus setting are transferred. This also enables the camera to signal in the viewfinder or on the display whether the subject is in focus. The interface is also used to set the aperture via the camera.

Advantages of a full-frame lens on a camera with an APS-C sensor
The Samyang XP 10mm F3.5 is designed for full-frame. Of course, you can also use it on cameras with smaller sensors, for example APS-C. Since a correspondingly smaller section of the Lens's full-frame image circle impinges on the sensor, the angle of view is also a smaller one (130° for full-frame, 104° for APS-C on Canon EF). The image content of the APS-C image is therefore a central section of what a full-frame camera would image. Aberrations usually occur at the edge, especially with wide-angle Lenses, so the quality is always maximum for APS-C cameras.
