  • ideal for low light conditions
  • Shots with shallow depth of field
  • extremely fast
  • clear + razor-sharp images
  • low weight and compact dimensions
  • high-quality workmanship

Thanks to its large aperture, the new M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 75 mm 1:1.8 is the perfect choice for high-speed photography and shooting in low light conditions. The long focal length enables shots with a shallow depth of field. This means that blurring in the foreground and background can be used in a targeted manner to emphasize image details - particularly ideal for portrait shots. The outstanding image quality and extremely high optical precision are reminiscent of the fantastic performance of the ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 150 mm 1:2.0 and guarantee clear, razor-sharp images with high contrast and high resolution at all times. Thanks to its low weight and compact dimensions, working in manual mode is also completely uncomplicated. The metal body gives the Olympus Lens a high level of quality. The finely tuned focus ring is extremely easy to operate. Because the multiple coating (ZERO - ZUIKO Extra-low Reflection Optical) is twice as effective as conventional coatings, the occurrence of ghost images and backlight reflections is extremely minimized. The M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 75 mm 1:1.8 reliably offers round bokeh without the dreaded vignetting or off-axis aberration.
