The NiSi Professional Kit for DJI Mavic Air 2 includes three ND filters ND8 / PL, ND16 / PL, ND32 / PL and an improved polarizer for DJI Mavic Air 2. Each NiSi filter for Mavic Air 2 is equipped with a lightweight airframe with aircraft aluminum construction, resulting in an amazingly light filter at approximately 1 g. The filters feature high-resolution optical glass with no color cast, providing ultimate sharpness. They provide a more natural sense of movement when filming. The ND filters feature the same IR technology as our square filters to reduce color casts and provide a very true-to-life color.
The PL (polarizer) reduces reflections and glare by filtering out light that has been polarized due to reflection from a non-metallic surface. Light from the sun is naturally partially polarized as electrons are reflected in air molecules, causing the light to break up into what appears as haze. A polarizing filter arranges this directionally polarized light perpendicular to the reflected light and filters it, allowing much of this light to be absorbed. This results in a noticeable reduction in glare and reflections from non-metallic surfaces and an increase in the saturation of sky and foliage.
The NiSi Enhanced Polarizer for Mavic Air 2 has improved color saturation compared to a standard PL, which increases the saturation of the scene when in use.
