Leofoto NB-34 ball head with NP-50 quick coupling
With a light weight of 418 g and a ball diameter of only 34 mm, this ball head still offers very powerful performance. It can carry a weight of 20 kg. This allows the use of heavy cameras and long Lens. Its tripod thread in the obligatory 3/8" size makes it available for many tripods from Leofoto and other brands. A spirit level (circular bubble) on the quick-release coupling and the precisely laser-engraved scale around the base of the NB-34 ball head facilitate precise adjustment as well as horizontal panning.
Low weight and maximum precision are by no means a coincidence, but are not least the result of the choice of material and the manufacturing process: an extremely durable aircraft aluminium alloy (black anodized), which is CNC-milled with extreme precision. The ball, which is milled from a solid block, moves extremely gently and smoothly and is otherwise fixed securely and precisely using the conveniently large rotary knob. Of course, it can also be angled by 90°. The relatively short overall height of the NB-34 of 93 mm keeps the center of gravity nice and low, which also has a positive effect against unwanted vibrations.
The highlight of this ball head is the possibility of double pivoting. Both the base and the NP-50 quick coupling, which is included in the scope of delivery, can be rotated through 360° independently of each other: An enormous amount of freedom for even faster adjustment - and therefore many possibilities for positioning the camera according to the photographic task at hand. To ensure that this can be done with pinpoint accuracy, both the base and the quick-release coupling have their own laser-engraved and therefore very precise scale. It goes without saying that the NP-50 quick coupling is Arca-Swiss compatible so that camera mounting is not a problem. However, the modular design of the NB-34 ball head also allows this quick release to be exchanged for another type.

- You are the sole author of the content and own all copyrights

Submitted customer opinions and uploaded media are usually reviewed and published within a few working days. All transferable rights of use of the content provided by you are transferred to Hifi Foto Koch GmbH and its current or future partners and representatives (including but not limited to affiliated companies, service providers, search engines, employees, agencies, branches, joint ventures, suppliers). The content may be used, modified and published by the aforementioned parties at their own discretion without any restrictions in terms of time, content and location. Promotional use is also permitted. You assume full responsibility for your content.
