  • Wide-angle zoom lens
  • LAOWA 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6 zoom
  • Full format
  • Angle of view 102-130 degrees
  • optical construction 14 elements in 10 groups
  • Filter thread 37 mm rear lens filter thread
  • suitable for Leica L-Mount

One of the most extreme wide-angle zoom lenses for cameras with Leica L-Mount.
It has been specially developed for travel and Venus Optics has found a compromise between the smallest Lens in its class (less than 10cm) and low weight (less than 500g). The angle of view between 102° (18mm) and 130° (10mm) offers the photographer enough freedom to create landscape or architectural images with ease.

The lens has 14 elements in 10 groups with 2 aspherical elements and one extra low dispersion element to achieve exceptionally high quality images. Thanks to the short focusing distance of just 15 cm, macro shots are possible that look sharp from front to back and whose foreground is extremely emphasized. A filter slot on the back accepts 37mm filters. An accessory magnetic filter holder accepts 100mm rectangular filters (other extreme wide-angle Lens need 150mm rectangular filters). The aperture can be switched from click-stop to continuous aperture adjustment with a switch, ideal for photo or video shoots. When shooting against the sun or a light source, a perfect 10-beam reflex is created thanks to the 5 aperture blades.
