Kowa Compact Spotting Scope TSN-554 Prominar 15-45x55
The Kowa Compact Spotting Scope TSN-554 15-45x55 is a compact, lightweight spotting scope in the Kowa Prominar series. This 55 mm variant has taken all the technological developments from its predecessor the TSN-880 into a compact size, the TSN-533 is only 27.1 cm long and has a weight of only 810 grams. It was Kowa's dream to develop a compact spotting scope with the best possible optical performance, with the TSN-554 the dream has come true.

The spotting scope is complete with a fixed eyepiece that has a magnification of 15-45x. The compact scope has a close focus and is sharp up to 3 meters. This allows you to see detailed flowers and insects, for example. The eyepiece has a twist-up eye cap and is therefore also suitable for spectacle wearers.

A special feature of the Prominar series spotting scopes are the lenses, the lenses of the Prominar series are made of fluorite crystal. Fluorite crystal is more difficult to handle than normal glass lenses. And yet Kowa makes a conscious choice to process fluorite crystal lenses in the Prominar series. This natural material, which is extracted in Japanese caverns, has no color fading and a very high resolution and contrast.

The body is made of polycarbonate and can withstand stress. The spotting scope is filled with dry nitrogen gas and waterproof class IPX7. This class means that the waterproof spotting scope can withstand rain.
