Universal, compact and powerful
Universal and powerful, the SIXTOMAT F2 is the indispensable tool for demanding amateurs with their own studio flash systems, strobists and filmmakers. The technology and equipment are of a professional standard, the operation is clear and easy to understand. The universal SIXTOMAT F2 is designed for both studio and outdoor use. It masters light and object metering for flash and continuous light, displays mixed light conditions as well as required multiple flashes and carries out contrast measurements. The exposure values determined are displayed in 1/1, 1/2 or 1/3 steps, depending on the setting. The SIXTOMAT F2 thus masters all common lighting situations in digital and analog photography as well as film with the highest precision and proven quality.

Simple CINE meter for filmmakers
In CINE mode, the speed is preset. An open aperture angle deviating from 180° can be taken into account by calculating and entering the extension factor as the correction value COR. After the measurement, the aperture value is displayed digitally in 1/10 steps and additionally rounded to 1/2 steps in the analog aperture scale. The cameraman thus has the basic data for a correctly exposed shot.

Practical ergonomics
The compact SIXTOMAT F2 is designed for practical one-handed operation. It can be operated simply and intuitively with just a few buttons. The high-contrast LCD display is very easy to read and clearly shows the values
. Its compact yet robust design ensures that it fits perfectly in the hand and accompanies the photographer as an indispensable tool for all tasks.

Universal light meter for photographers
With continuous light metering, you can choose to work with aperture or shutter speed preselection as well as light values. Switching between light and object metering is done via the movable diffuser. After the measurement, different time/aperture combinations can be called up using value keys. The digital measured value display is in 1/10 steps, aperture values are rounded to 1/2 steps and displayed on the analog aperture scale. In the time preset and light value functions, the contrast range is determined when the metering button is pressed and displayed on the analog aperture scale. This is an ideal function for adjusting the contrast range of the subject to that of the recording medium. The wide metering range from f/1.0 to 90 and 1/8000 s up to 60 minutes supports available light photography with fast Lens and night photography in extremely dark environments. The measurement or input of correction values up to ± 7.9 EV can be used optimally when using neutral density filters to extend the exposure time.
With flash metering, the flash can be triggered manually or via sync cable.

If radio systems are used, the transmitter can be triggered manually or via the sync socket, depending on the metering mode. After the measurement, the aperture value corresponding to the specified sync time appears on the display. In the analog aperture scale, this is displayed together with the aperture value of the continuous light component. The ratio of flash to continuous light can be influenced by changing the sync time. This allows the fill-in flash to be metered or the ambient light to be attenuated. If the metering shows that the desired working aperture cannot be achieved with just one flash, this can be set using the upper value button. The digital time display is replaced by the number of flashes to be triggered to achieve the working aperture.
