The Gitzo GM4552L Series 4 monopod is a carbon fiber monopod with 5 leg segments. It is the >strong>highest model in the series and has been specially designed for safe elevation on a space-saving footprint and is a lightweight tripod whose effectiveness is particularly evident when shooting over crowds or fences.
The GM4552L is a professional tripod that uses larger tubes (the diameter of the upper leg segments is 37.0 mm) and torsionally stiff Carbon eXact tubes to provide rock-solid stability even at the maximum extension height of 190 cm, with an absolute minimum of dead weight.
It safely supports an impressive 30 kg load at a weight of only 730 grams. Gitzo's renowned G-Lock Ultra locking system provides extremely rigid connections between the leg segments, making the tubes even stronger and preventing moisture and dirt from entering the tripod joints.

It folds down to just 56 cm and can be easily packed away or strapped to a backpack for day or night trips.
The GM4552L frame features an innovative rubber foot with a swivel ball joint for smooth movement, perfect for capturing moving subjects. It provides a firm base with maximum stability on any surface and can be removed or replaced with optional feet or metal spikes if required.

The monopod also features Gitzo's renowned ergonomic handle and a detachable wrist strap for improved safety.
