  • metallic nano coating
  • robust Schott B270 glass
  • for ideal transmission values with minimal reflection

With the new NUANCES neutral density filters made of mineral glass, Cokin presents the most innovative new product on the filter market. Cokin has developed a new coating process that ensures perfect, uniform coloration. A metallic nano-coating is applied to both sides of the robust Schott B270 glass and the combination of high-quality glass and high-tech coating ensures ideal transmission values with minimal reflection.

The NUANCES filter series from Cokin is aimed specifically at friends of landscape photography who want to realize long exposures with the help of a high-quality ND filter. In addition, the NUANCES filters make it possible to reduce the depth of field in bright light situations, especially in the field of portrait photography and videography.

The "strongest" neutral density filter ND1024 in the NUANCES filter series reduces the incident light by 10 f-stops. It literally catches the light before it hits the sensor, creating exciting effects without color shifts. 10 f-stops can be far too much in some situations. This is why Cokin offers the NUANCES filters in six different strengths.

It goes without saying that these ND filters are designed for use with the Cokin CREATIVE filter holder system in sizes M to XL. As different Cokin filters can be combined with the NUANCE filters, there is no limit to creativity.

Size L filters also fit into all standard 4x4" matte boxes. Filters from a strength of ND32 in sizes L and XL are supplied with a foam mask that can be slid between the filter and filter holder to prevent unwanted stray light.
