With this basic equipment, the moon and many bright objects such as globular clusters, galaxies and gas nebulae can be observed. The equipment is completed by the important beginner's book "First steps with your Celestron telescope", (82 pages, author: Alexander Kerste).

Solar System Edition
The special accessories of the "Solar System Version" greatly expand the possibilities of the telescope, especially for using it during the day at the sun with the highest magnification. The following accessories supplement the basic equipment of the TravelScope 70:
A Baader ASSF 80 solar filter with original AstroSolar solar filter foil. This allows you to use the telescope for observing sunspots and solar eclipses!
A 4mm Celestron eyepiece worth € 23, which perfectly complements the existing eyepieces with 100x magnification and rounds off the set. This allows you to see the rings of Saturn, the cloud streaks and moons of Jupiter, the crescent shape of Venus and the polar caps of Mars in sharp focus!
Start your voyage of discovery to our nearest star and neighboring planets - with the solar system version of the Travelscope 70 at an unbeatable price!
